Who should I introduce?
We would love to meet people responsible for hiring IT contractors or building technology teams, including:
IT directors and technology leaders.
Chief technology officers and chief information officers.
Heads of engineering and software development.
Transformation, change and programme leaders.
Cybersecurity, cloud and data leaders.
Talent acquisition and recruitment teams.
Procurement and supplier-management contacts.
Business owners planning technology projects.
Hiring managers who use specialist IT contractors.
The business might be:
Hiring IT contractors now.
Planning to grow its technology team.
Starting a technology or transformation project.
Struggling to find specialist IT skills.
Looking for additional recruitment support.
Reviewing its recruitment suppliers.
Building a more flexible contractor workforce.
You do not need to know every detail. An introduction to the right person is enough.
What counts as a new client?
The business must normally:
Not currently be receiving recruitment services from Talent Today.
Not have received recruitment services from us during the previous 24 months.
Not have been in active discussions with us during the previous six months.
Not have been referred previously by someone else.
We will review your introduction and let you know whether it has been accepted.
Your referral is only officially accepted when you receive written confirmation and a referral reference number from Talent Today.
Who can take part?
Client Connect Rewards is open to eligible UK residents aged 18 or over and eligible UK-based businesses.
You could be:
A current or former Talent Today contractor.
A candidate.
A client or former client.
A professional contact.
A member of our wider network.
Someone who has never worked with Talent Today before.
You do not need to be a contractor to participate.
Talent Today employees and professional recruitment or lead-generation businesses cannot participate unless separate written terms have been agreed.
Why introduce Talent Today?
Talent Today specialises in IT contract recruitment.
We help businesses find and engage experienced IT contractors, managing the process from the initial requirement through to contractor start.
Your contact will receive a straightforward conversation about what they need and how we may be able to help.
Your role is to make the introduction. We will handle everything else.
Do I need to make a sales pitch?
No.
You only need to make the introduction. Talent Today will manage the conversation, commercial discussions and recruitment process.
Do I have to send a warm email introduction?
No, although we recommend it.
If your contact has agreed, you can ask Talent Today to contact them directly and mention your name.
Whichever option you choose, you must register the introduction through the official form.
Can I send the email introduction first?
Yes.
If you introduce us by email before completing the form, we will send you the form link. You must complete it within five working days.
Provided the referral is eligible, we may use the time of your original email when deciding who made the introduction first.
What counts as a successful introduction?
The referral must be accepted as an eligible new-client introduction.
The referred business must then:
Sign Talent Today’s recruitment terms within 12 months.
Have a qualifying IT contractor start within the same 12-month period.
Retain the contractor for three consecutive months.
Pay the relevant invoices in full.
What happens if the first contractor leaves before three months?
That placement will not qualify for a reward.
Another contractor may qualify if they start within the original 12-month period and meet all the reward conditions.
When will I be paid?
Payment will normally be made within 30 days after:
All the reward conditions have been met.
Talent Today has confirmed that the reward is payable.
We have received any payment details, identification or invoice required.
Can I introduce more than one business?
Yes.
Each eligible business introduction will be assessed separately and can generate rewards of up to £5,000.
What happens if two people introduce the same business?
The reward will normally belong to the first person who submits a complete and eligible introduction that Talent Today accepts.
We will use form records, email timestamps and our business records to determine which introduction was received first.
What if Talent Today already knows the business?
A historic contact or database record will not automatically make your referral ineligible.
However, it will not qualify if the business is already a client, has received services from Talent Today during the previous 24 months or has been in active discussions with us during the previous six months.
We will check and confirm whether your introduction has been accepted.
Can I introduce a business I work with?
Potentially.
You must check your contract and the business’s gifts, procurement and conflicts policies.
You must tell the business about the potential reward. If you influence recruitment supplier decisions or expenditure, you may need written approval before submitting the introduction.
Is this a candidate referral programme?
No.
Client Connect Rewards is for introducing new businesses that may need IT contract recruitment support.
Candidate or contractor referrals for individual vacancies are not included.
Is the reward taxable?
It may be.
You are responsible for declaring any reward and paying any tax that may be due. Please obtain your own tax advice if you are unsure.
