I am seeking an experienced Node.JS Developer to work as part of an expanding team and be an integral part of a market leading piece of software.
You’ll need experience of…
- At least three years' experience as a Node.js and React developer
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks
- Experience writing unit tests in a unit testing framework such as Jest or Cypress
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS
- An intermediate knowledge of SQL, preferably MSSQL
- Version control using Git
- Agile working practices such as SCRUM and XP
- Experience using Typescript
- Experience working within the EdTech sector
- Experience using cloud services such as Azure, AWS, Google
- Experience working with containers and Docker
- Experience of working within an automated delivery environment
- Develop high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code
- Implement software solution testing though techniques such as BDD, TDD, Integration Testing and Unit Testing
- Collaborate with the wider development team to assist with front end implementation and manual testing
- Work with the team using Agile development practices to deliver business requirements
- Support the creation of backlog items, technical and user documentation
- Share progress of work items to the rest of the team using the sprint board
- Support and mentor other team members, including peer reviews and code reviews
- Follow and shape agreed team standards
- Engage in continual personal development to learn new technologies and techniques and share those with the wider team
