I’m currently looking for a Data Engineer who uses the latest Microsoft BI Azure cloud technologies to ingest, model and publish datasets combining multiple data sources.  Guides key stakeholders on the art of the possible and provides realistic timescales on when they can be achieved. 
  
Experience, Skills and Knowledge required

• Strong proficiency working with the Microsoft BI SQL Server stack, with high competence in SQL programming (T-SQL, Spark) and SSAS Tabular modelling (including DAX measures).
• Some exposure to Azure data technologies (Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake) is desirable.
• Experience with Python/PySpark in data engineering is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to configure integration tools (such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory/Synapse, SSIS) to run ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiar with data warehousing design concepts and Kimball star schemas.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
