Senior Infrastructure Project Manager- Azure, (Outside IR35) Remote/Occasional Travel  (Azure experience is a MUST)

I am currently seeking the skills of an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to work on a series of European country IT migrations from on-prem IT infrastructure to a Microsoft Azure cloud-based service.

The role involves managing a small central team who will analyse the in-country IT estate and design the Azure-based solution to move the application workload from locally managed IT into a central team. 

The Project Manager should be a self-starter with a good technical background On-prem IT infrastructure to a Microsoft Azure cloud-based experience Project Management experience covering data centre consolidations, cloud migration and service transitions. The role involves dealing with 3rd party resources including senior stakeholders, good communication skills are essential.

The PM will have the ability to hold teams and stakeholders to account, raise risks and propose appropriate mitigation options and recommendations. Key interfaces are also into the central BAU function who will manage the environments after each workload migrates.

The role is primarily dealing with UK/EU resources, possibility of some travel as restrictions ease. This position will fall outside of IR35
