Ruby on Rails Developers required for a 6 month project of work. The project will focus on disrupting the market by creating a cloud-based platform that will be used by schools on a day-to-day basis, by combining data, innovative user interfaces and integrating other products in the portfolio.
The team for the role in question will be initially focussed on integrating with in-house APIs to deliver interactive reporting functionality for trusts to view the assessment data in their schools.
Future work will investigate migrating the existing assessment and analytics products via strangler pattern to our new Greenfield platform.
You’ll need experience of…
- Building medium to large scale web applications with Ruby on Rails
- Full stack experience required, ideally with understanding of the Hotwire framework but good knowledge of modern JavaScript / CSS methodologies a pre-requisite
- Integrating with well documented APIs
- A relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL (we are currently using Postgres)
- Automated testing (both TDD and BDD), ideally using RSpec
- Distributed version control using Git
